my mum was a lil disappointed wif me.
coz i didn't go qing ming wif them dis morning.
it was ytd that she told me how she felt.
it goes like dis.

mum: around 7+ lah, when we wake up.

m: u really got something on? v disappointing u know? i nvr expect u to hold the joss sticks, just ask u go along wif us. like that v difficult meh? i supported u for ur baptism, now ask u come along wif us, u also don't want. u changed alot ar.. u know u're the eldest son in the family, and next time when we pass away, u'll haf to make decisions for us. i roughly know what kind of decisions u'll make alr.

i really didn't know how to tell her.
i had it all in my head!
really wanted to ask her,
why did she agree on my baptism.
if she's still expecting me to be the old des,
den why still agree?
agree so that she can say,
"i support u, is that what ur god teach u?"
how do i show Christ's love to them?
how do i discern from what is right and wrong?
when the boundaries are so grey.
i need an old wise man,
who'd been thru what i am going thru.
and teach me how exactly do i please
both God and family.
both the first and the second commandment.
what if i choose to please God,
and my parents detest it so much that
they hardened their hearts toward Christ all the more?
ahh, is dis what i call.
"trust in the Lord wif all ur heart"?
do i love Him enough to trust Him?
from dis i saw,
obviously i don't trust Him enough.
when then?
will i ever learn to submit?

will i ever learn to trust that my God provides?
